With its sophisticated Italian exterior, the FL CD Three S boasts robust craftsmanship, featuring a sturdy casework with a substantial 10 mm thick aluminum front panel.
The FL CD Three S includes a compact, ergonomic remote control crafted from solid aluminum to match the front panel’s silver or black color. It features a large blue OLED display for essential information. The CD-Drive is optimized for single-speed playback, and it utilizes SABRE ES9026PRO 32-Bit DACs. Audia Flight offers a selection of seven digital filters for PCM signals, including disks.
Audia Flight employs two isolated toroidal transformers: 58VA for analog and 36VA for digital circuits.
Breaking from conventional norms, the DACs’ analog output section derives its power from the analog supply, exemplifying Audia Flight’s dedication to refinement. With Audia Flight’s renowned Class A discrete current feedback technology, the unit presents both balanced and unbalanced analog outputs, in addition to a digital output.
For added versatility, an optional input card with five digital inputs (2x Opto, 1x AES/EBU, 1x Coax, 1x USB) is available for future inclusion. The USB input, supporting 32/384 PCM and DSD 512, ensures the unit’s timeless relevance as a standalone DAC. Stringent insulation of all digital inputs safeguards against any interference from digital sources.
